Independent music and culture magazine Paste is capitalizing on what is becoming an increasingly popular business model through which magazines add localized content in various cities throughout the U.S. Paste:Local is essentially a series of city-specific blogs which will explore and celebrate the artistic happenings in locales across the United States. The launch kicks off with Atlanta, Chicago and New York, with additional cities to be added in the months ahead. Given the strong indepedent music scenes in Austin, Baltimore and Minneapolis, Paste has many places to branch out to.

Through Paste:Local, readers can find local news, reviews, music, interviews and profiles, event listings, and more—and all with the same Paste touch and sensibility that readers have come to know and trust. Each blog will be maintained by a local editor with help from local writers who have expansive knowledge of and enthusiasm for the music, film and culture being produced in their city.

Paste is in it's sixth year of publication.
